Activities of Associate Professor Majken Pagter´s research group

Research in the Plant Physiology group is focused on physiological responses and plant adaptations to adverse environmental conditions and global change biology. A main focus area is overwintering of plants and winter climate change effects on temperate plants. Including regulation of seasonal transitions in plant freezing tolerance and the underlying physiological, biochemical and molecular mechanisms. Understanding these mechanisms can provide useful information for improvement of crop performance.
